The borescope is durable and can be used for days-long inspections of large pipe systems to create in-depth weld maps. For small inspections, the team can be in and out of a site in minutes.
Lawrence recalled an example of the device’s functionality.
The Campbell Soup Company asked 澳门足彩app to inspect what appeared to be rust on the piping in one of its facilities. The inspection proved valuable when, using the borescope, he spotted several areas where the interior welding was not up to code. He mapped the entire piping system, noting specifically the substandard welds. He also resolved the question of what appeared to be rust.
“None of the pipes was rusty,” he said. “It turned out that tomato sauce had dried, and it appeared as though the pipes were rusting when they were not.”
